How much are your lessons?

What do I need to start lessons?

You must have a provisional licence. You must be at least 17 years of age, and your eyesight must meet the minimum standard. Click here for exact details.

Are your lessons a full hour?

Yes, when we quote our lesson prices they are by the hour. Most, but not all driving schools charge by the hour, some are for 50, or sometimes only 45 minutes.

Can I book lessons that are longer than one hour?

Do we give a discount for block booking and for students?

How do I pay for lessons?

Normally you will pay your instructor directly, unless you wish to pay for a gift voucher, which are arranged directly through our booking office.

How many lessons will I need?

Do you do intensive coures?

Yes, although we generally do not recommend that you try to learn in too short a period of time. Please click here for more details.

Can I book lessons with a lady instructor?

Yes, in most areas.

Do you give lessons in automatic cars?

No, all of our cars are manuals.

Does my instructor smoke?

No, it is part of our instructor's code of conduct that they do not smoke during lessons.

Is the car dual controlled?

Will the instructor help me with the theory test?

What if I do not like my instructor, can I change to another?

We always try to find the instructor that we think will suit you, but if for any reason you do not get on with him/her, we will find you another.

Can you help me book my theory or practical test?

How long is the wait for a Theory Test?

This varies from area to area, typically it is between five and fifteen days.
